It’s been a full few weeks at Bam Dot Crack. Here’s what we’ve been up to.
We threw our first event
Last month, Aishah and Marissa hosted our very first in-person event at Literati Bookstore in Ann Arbor, one of the best independent bookstores in the country and, not by accident, the city where the four of us first met. They set up mahjong tables, previewed the app, and played hands with nearly 30 people who came out to see what we’ve been building. It was exactly what we hoped a BDC event would feel like.
There’s merch now
Aishah and Marissa turned up to Literati in BDC sweatshirts, which created just enough internal pressure that Lauren went and built a whole merch shop. We’re not complaining.
The app is on its way
Bam Dot Crack has been approved and is headed to the App Store. This first release is still a beta, and we’ll keep polishing as we go.
We’re exploring a Seattle event
Literati went so well that we started dreaming about the next one, in Seattle this July.
